The Shaykh :"The Trustworthy One descended with it by the command of Allah from *** His Lord Who settled Himself upon the Throne, the Most Merciful"
Who is the Trustworthy One? Jibril. Allah described him as trustworthy and as strong, saying:
(19) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (20) [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], إنه لقول رسول كريم ذي قوة عند ذي العرش مكين
[At-Takwir 81:19-20]
, and He said:
The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down نزل به الروح الأمين
[Ash-Shu'ara 26:193]
, and strength and trustworthiness bring about perfection
Indeed, the best of those you hire is the strong and trustworthy one إن خير من استأجرت القوي الأمين
