(Explanation of the conditions for the acceptance of intercession, may Allah be pleased with the intercessor and the one for whom intercession is sought, and His permission for intercession, with evidence) And He has all intercession, and He is the One who *** in that

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And He has all intercession" due to His saying, the Exalted:
To Allah belongs [the right to allow] intercession entirely
[Az-Zumar 39:44]

"And He is the One who *** in that grants permission to the near intercessor"
This is the reason why all intercessions belong to Him: it is not possible for any intercession to exist except by His permission
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
Even the highest of creation in status, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), does not intercede except by Allah's permission. He said:
"And He is the One who *** in that grants permission to the near intercessor
to whom He is pleased among those who affirm His oneness and do not *** associate [partners with Him], as has come in the Qur'an"

So intercession requires two conditions. The first condition is Allah's pleasure with the intercessor and the one for whom intercession is sought. Accordingly, idols do not intercede, because Allah is not pleased with them and does not approve of them. And the polytheists' intercession is not valid, why? Because Allah is not pleased with them.
The second condition is that He grants permission for the intercession. If He does not grant permission, there is no intercession. The evidence for this is His saying, the Exalted:
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
, and His saying:
and they cannot intercede except on behalf of one whom He approves
[Al-Anbya 21:28]
, and His saying:
That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word.
[Taha 20:109]
So it is necessary that Allah be pleased with the intercessor and the one for whom intercession is sought, and it is necessary that He grants permission.
