The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 15920 )
Q 4: Do the righteous intercede on the Day of Resurrection, and for whom? How does the intercession take place?
A 4: The righteous intercede on the Day of Resurrection if Allah grants them permission to intercede and the one for whom intercession is sought is among the Muslims. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Anbya 21:28] , and He the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah 2:255] .
As for the disbelievers, the intercession of those who intercede will not benefit them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
