Question:
About whom is intercession, what are its categories, who are those who intercede, and do the parents have intercession on the Day of Resurrection?

Answer:
Answer: Intercession is a reality, subject to two conditions: The first condition is that Allah grants permission to the intercessor to intercede (Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission). The second condition is that the one for whom intercession is sought must be from the people of faith; as for the disbelievers, the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them (There is no close friend for the wrongdoers, nor any intercessor who will be obeyed). The intercessors with Allah are many: the angels intercede, the prophets intercede, the righteous intercede, and the infants who died young intercede for their parents.
