Does the good life in this world require an abundance of wealth and children?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Yes, that is correct. The good life does not require an abundance of wealth, nor an abundance of children, nor built palaces. The life is good if the life of its owner is good, even if he is the poorest of people. For this reason, Allah the Exalted did not say: "Whoever does good, male or female, while he is a believer, We will provide him with many children, increase his wealth, and improve his dwelling." Rather, He said:
a good life حياة طيبة
For this reason, you sometimes find the believing, pious person, even if he is among the poorest of Allah's servants, to be among the people with the sweetest hearts. Yes.
