Using contraception due to having many children

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
And another says: A man has many children—praise be to Allah—but his wife has become unable to raise more than that, so she was forced to stop at this limit. Do you advise me to have intercourse with my wife without doing the things that prevent pregnancy, or should she use these means?

Answer:
As mentioned before, as you have heard, if there is a legitimate religious reason and a legitimate need, and that is her inability to raise them and fulfill what is required regarding the children due to their number and her burden with them, then there is nothing wrong with having a period between them, such as a year, for example, so that she can become strong enough to raise them, and the end of the period is two years, which is the duration of breastfeeding.
