The Shaykh : I fear that this which is placed on the head falls under what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) warned against, where he said:Sahih Muslim 2128 Then, her placing this on her head and going out to the markets is considered displaying adornment (tabarruj), because she considers this to be adornment, and it is displaying adornment by which she elevates herself above her female counterparts with this adornment. They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such distance.
