The reciter: In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy. And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. As for what follows:
The Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his Sahih:
Chapter on the Prayer of Fear:
Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Shu'ayb informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: I asked him whether the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the Prayer of Fear? He said: Salim informed me that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said:
I took part in a holy battle with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) I in Najd. We faced the enemy and arranged ourselves in rows. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) stood up to lead the prayer and one party stood to pray with him while the other faced the enemy. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) and the former party bowed and performed two prostrations. Then that party left and took the place of those who had not prayed. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) prayed one rak`a (with the latter) and performed two prostrations and finished his prayer with Taslim. Then everyone of them bowed once and performed two prostrations individually.
Sahih al-Bukhari 942
.

The Shaykh : This is clear that it is close to the context of the noble verse, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed with a group with him for one rak'ah, and when he stood up, they completed it for themselves. The apparent context that is with us is that they did not complete it for themselves, because he said
performed two prostrations. Then that party left سجد سجدتين ثم انصرفوا
Sahih al-Bukhari 942
the place of the group that had not prayed. But in the hadith of Salih ibn Khatam, they completed it for themselves, then they went and stood facing the enemy. Then the first group came and entered with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the second rak'ah, and he prayed the rak'ah with them. Then he sat for the tashahhud, and they stood up by themselves and made up what was due on them before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the salam. Then he said the salam with them. Perhaps you should look at al-Fath regarding his statement: "and he prostrated twice, then they moved away."
