The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. In the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri regarding the man who repeated the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
You have two rewards لك الأجر مرتين
Even though the man made a mistake, and the one who makes a mistake usually has only one reward?

The Shaykh : It is not because of the ruling, but because he prayed twice. He has the reward for the first prayer, and the reward for the second prayer. I referred to this in my statement just now, because he prayed two prayers believing that both were obligatory.
