'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite the Takbir in his tent at Mina, and the people of the mosque would hear him and recite the Takbir, and the people of the markets would recite the Takbir until Mina would tremble with the Takbir.
كان عمر رضي الله عنه يكبر في قبته بمنى ، فيسمعه أهل المسجد فيكبرون ، ويكبر أهل الأسواق حتى ترتج منى تكبيراًAnd Ibn 'Umar used to recite the Takbir at Mina on those days, after the prayers, on his bed, in his tent, in his sitting place, and in his walking place, on all of those days.
وكان ابن عمر يكبر بمنى تلك الأيام ، وخلف الصلوات ، وعلى فراشه ، وفي فسطاطه ومجلسه وممشاه ، تلك الأيام جميعاًAnd Maymunah used to recite the Takbir on the Day of Sacrifice.
