Explanation of the Book of Friday Prayer and the Two Festivals-07a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abdullah ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Muhammad, from Umm 'Atiyyah, who said:
Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to send out the young women and those who stay in their private quarters أمرنا نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم بأن نخرج العواتق وذوات الخدور
And from Ayyub from Hafsah, to the same effect, and he added in Hafsah's narration: "Or she said:
The young women and those who stay in their private quarters, and the menstruating women should stay away from the place of prayer العواتق وذوات الخدور ويعتزل الحيض المصلى
.

The Shaykh : "Al-'Awatiq" means the noble free women who possess honor and dignity.
"Dhawwat al-khudur" refers to the virgins, because it is customary for a virgin to remain in her private quarters and not go out.
And her statement:
And the menstruating women should stay away from the place of prayer ويعتزل الحيض المصلى
in my two copies is
And the menstruating women should stay away from the place of prayer ويعتزلن الحيض المصلى
This is according to the known linguistic form called "the locusts ate it," meaning the combination of the pronoun and the subject, which is contrary to the well-known usage of the Arabic language.
