The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "They will be cast into the Hatimah. And what will make you know what the Hatimah is?"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
[Al-Humazah 104:4]
. Yanbadhun means they will be thrown, they will be thrown. And nabdh is throwing with force, as in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
But they threw it away behind their backs
[Ali 'Imran 3:187]
meaning they threw it behind them and left it.
So, who will be cast? It is the grumbler, the critic, who has gathered wealth. The fourth characteristic: and its number, he will be cast into the Hatimah, thrown with violence, as Allah the Exalted said:
The Day they will be called to the Fire of Hell, called in
May Allah protect us and you from the Fire. The people of the Fire do not enter the Fire as a favor; the people of Paradise, may Allah make me and you among them, enter as a favor, the angels receive them
will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], (24) "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured يدخلون عليهم من كل باب سلام عليكم بما صبرتم
[Ar-Ra'd 13:23-24]
.
As for the people of the Fire, Allah Mighty and Majestic says:
The Day they will be called to the Fire of Hell, called in
They are driven in, because they imagined, my brothers, that the Fire was presented to them like a mirage. What is a mirage? The mirage that appears in the vast, open ground, which a person thinks is water while they are thirsty, as Allah the Exalted said:
They will be driven to Hell in crowds
In the height of their thirst, they hasten to it. What do they want? They are thirsty and hasten to a mirage they think is water. What do they want? Yes, they want to drink. But when they come, it is the Fire, so they stop and do not enter the Fire. Then they are called to it, da'a, meaning they are driven in with violence and force, and they are rebuked, and it is said:
"This is the Fire which you used to deny. هذه النار التي كنتم بها تكذبون
[At-Tur 52:14]
This, by Allah, my brothers, is the truth of certainty. This is the truth, and it must be so. And between you and it is only that the soul leaves the body. Does the soul leaving the body have a known time? Yes, no, not necessarily. A person may leave his house and return carried on his bier, or he may be at his desk and die, or he may travel and die. There is nothing between you and these realities but death, then you will see, then you will see, as Allah Mighty and Majestic said when He mentioned the categories of people at death: the near ones, the companions of the right, and the companions of the left. Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, this is the truth of certainty
. The truth of certainty, my brothers. O Allah, grant us the response to this. O Allah, grant us the response to this.
They will be called to the Fire of Hell, called in
And they are rebuked
"This is the Fire which you used to deny. هذه النار التي كنتم بها تكذبون
[At-Tur 52:14]
And here He says:
He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
[Al-Humazah 104:4]
Hatimah, on the pattern of fa'ilah, from hataam, which is destruction. That is, it destroys with great, severe destruction. Then Allah magnified this destruction and said:
And what will make you know what the Hatimah is?
And this interrogation is for magnification and excitement. May Allah excite us to look.
