The Answer to the Doubt of the Grave Worshippers Regarding the Fulfillment of Supplications When Calling Upon the Occupants of Graves

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : If someone were to say: Some people are tested and they call upon the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) or a wali (close friend of Allah) or someone else, and then what they asked for is granted. What is the answer to this?
The answer to this is that we know that what was granted to this person was never granted by his supplication. It was never granted by the supplication of the one who made it. Why? Because Allah says in His Book:
And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection
[Al-Ahqaf 46:5]
until the Day of Resurrection. And He the Exalted says:
And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed. (14) If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters].
[Fatir 35:13-14]
So, what was granted was not granted by the supplication...
