Reconciliation Between Disputing Parties

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This man says he has a problem with a partner of his, a commercial one, and he wants us to give him five minutes of time?
And I say: there is nothing wrong with that, on the condition that his opponent is present, so that we can see what the opponent says, because if we ruled in favor of the claimant without the presence of his opponent...
And the scholars have mentioned that Dawud (peace be upon him) was only tested with this issue, where the claimant came to him and said:
Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech." إن هذا أخي له تسع وتسعون نعجة ولي نعجة واحدة فقال أكفلنيها وعزّني في الخطاب
[Sad 38:23]
He said, what?
He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes لقد ظلمك بسؤال نعجتك إلى نعاجه
[Sad 38:24]
and he did not take the statement of the opponent, so there was a trial in this. Yes.
