What is your opinion on the rapprochement between religions?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And all religions are divine; this is not permissible. First, the Torah in the hands of the Jews and the Gospel in the hands of the Christians are distorted, altered, and changed, so they are not as the messengers brought them.
Second, even if it were assumed to be one hundred percent as the messengers brought it, it has been abrogated. Who rules over the religions and legislates them? Allah the Creator (Mighty and Majestic). Allah the Exalted said:
And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed وأنزلنا عليك الكتاب بالحقّ مصدّقا لما بين يديه من الكتاب ومهيمنا عليه فاحكم بينهم بما أنزل الله
[Al-Ma'idah 5:48]
It has ended. The functions of the religion of the Jews and the religion of the Christians have ended, and they will never be established again. Do you understand?
As for the Shi'ah and the Sunnah, each of them claims to be a Muslim, but this must be weighed with the scale of truth, and it must be seen whether the disagreement between them is like the disagreement between al-Shafi'i and Ahmad, or Abu Hanifah and Malik, or Sufyan al-Thawri and others, or is it a fundamental disagreement in creed? If it is the latter, then these people must be called to the religion of Islam, and it must be made clear to them that they are on misguidance. It is not possible to bring Islam close to what is not Islam; this is not possible. Therefore, I see that it is obligatory for the scholars of the people of the Sunnah to call to the Sunnah without attacking by mentioning the invalidity of the Rafidah school, for example, those who call themselves Shi'ah. We do not attack them, because a person, no matter who he is, if he has a principle and is attacked, he will resist and refuse. But the Sunnah is clarified, and the virtues of the Companions are clarified, especially the Rightly Guided Caliphs: Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, and 'Ali. And when the truth is clarified, souls are naturally inclined to accept the truth. But what harms people now is the attacking, and this is a mistake and is not from wisdom. Allah the Exalted said:
And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge ولا تسبّوا الذين يدعون من دون الله فيسبّوا الله عدّوا بغير علم
[Al-An'am 6:108]
Even though cursing the gods of the polytheists is obligatory, but if we curse their gods, which are false, they will curse our God, who is the truth. Similarly, in da'wah now, I do not like it when the callers attack. I do not like them to clarify the truth, and when the truth becomes apparent, souls are naturally inclined to accept it. Yes, do you have a question? Yasar, Yasar, guests, do you have a question?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Okay, there is no problem. Are you one of the guests?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Give it to him, give it to him...
