The Shaykh : And he had

The questioner : He had an estate, and he said to his sons, meaning this one-third is for me, and it is obligatory for them to perform the sacrifice on my behalf. This one-third is not for anyone to take; rather, it is only to be used for the sacrifice on my behalf at the time of the sacrifice. Meaning, they do not take anything from it; it remains for that purpose, meaning no one takes from it.

The Shaykh : Yes, it is known that he may bequeath one-third of his wealth in what he sees as beneficial, such as the sacrifice, building mosques, printing beneficial books, or the like. The important thing is that Allah has granted us one-third of our wealth after our death, and we bequeath it in whatever righteous deeds we wish. Yes.
