Benefits of the Verse: “And of the people are some who say, ‘We believe in Allah and the Last Day,’ but they are not believers”

In this noble verse there are benefits: among them is the explicit mention of this type of people, namely the hypocrites[Al-Baqarah 2:8].
Among its benefits is the negation of the description for one in whom it is not realized from one aspect, because they claim to be believers, but they are believers only in appearance and not in reality. For this reason, it says:[Al-Baqarah 2:8] meaning, in reality.
Among its benefits is that apparent submission, if it is not based on belief, is futile and of no benefit, due to His saying:[Al-Baqarah 2:8].
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that one who distorts the facts and claims attributes that do not belong to him has a resemblance to the hypocrites. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made the sign of the hypocrite three, one of which is:Sahih Muslim 59a.
