The hadith "It is not permissible for a woman to travel a distance of one day and night except with a mahram": Does this not indicate a limit on the distance of travel?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The Shaykh (may Allah preserve him), we said: The distance for shortening the prayer has no limit. What is our response to the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him):
It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for one day and night except with a Mahram. لا يحل لامرأة تؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر أن تسافر مسيرة يوم ولا ليلة ليس معها حرمة
Sahih al-Bukhari 1088
?

The Shaykh : Yes, this does not indicate that travel is limited to one day and night. Rather, it indicates that a woman should not travel this distance without a mahram. However, restricting travel without a mahram to one day and night or three days is not intended.
This is because the definitions differ, and because of the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon, saying:
A woman should not travel except with a mahram لا تسافر امرأة إلا مع ذي محرم
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9:2565
. So whatever people call travel, it is not permissible for a woman to travel it except with a mahram. Yes.
