What is your opinion of one who cites the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Between every two adhan there is a prayer," as evidence for the pre-Jumu'ah sunnah?

The questioner : Your Eminence, one of the scholars cited the hadith
Between every two calls (to prayer) there is a Salat بين كل أذانين صلاة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 185Sahih (Darussalam)
and derived from it the permissibility of the pre-Jumu'ah sunnah. Is this derivation correct? And what is your guidance regarding the matter of the pre-Jumu'ah sunnah? May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : Yes.
There is no doubt that the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
Between every two calls (to prayer) there is a Salat بين كل أذانين صلاة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 185Sahih (Darussalam)
indicates the permissibility of praying between the adhan and the iqamah in every prayer. It is well known that Fajr has a rawatib, Zuhr has a rawatib, and Maghrib also has a rawatib, as explicitly stated in the hadith:
Pray before Maghrib صلوا قبل المغرب
three times. And he said regarding the third:
for whoever wishes لمن شاء
As for Isha' and Asr, nothing specific has been reported regarding them, but they are included in the general statement
Between every two calls (to prayer) there is a Salat بين كل أذانين صلاة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 185Sahih (Darussalam)
.
As for the adhan for Jumu'ah, it is not valid to cite it as evidence, because the adhan known in the time of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is the adhan that occurs when the imam enters. After the imam enters, there is no prayer, because the imam will stand and deliver the khutbah, and the people will listen to him.
The Companions did not pray during this time. As for the first adhan, which occurs a time before the second adhan, there is no harm in a person standing and performing voluntary prayers until the imam's arrival is near, or until the imam arrives, according to the opinion of those who hold that there is no prohibition on praying on Friday after the sun has passed its zenith. Yes, that is correct.
