What is the ruling on one who declares a specific sum of money forbidden to himself?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, may Allah reward you with good. A man gave me five thousand riyals on the condition that I find land for him, and after the land was found, he handed me the money.
And after a period of time had passed, every day and every night he would say to me: "Return the money you have to me." One night, while I was angry, I said: "Your money is forbidden to me, the money I have." And now I ask you, may Allah reward you with good?

The Shaykh : You are asking now whether the money becomes lawful for you or not?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : If there was an agreement between you that if I find the land for him, the five thousand are yours, then it is lawful for you.
As for your declaring it forbidden, you are obligated to pay an expiation for an oath, meaning that you must feed ten poor people, one and a half sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) each, with each sa' being for four people.

The questioner : Four people.

The Shaykh : Yes, from rice.

The questioner : And I have a question.

The Shaykh : No, the second question later, because each person has a question, and there are many people.
