Before this, how did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Calmly, calmly, and if you find a gap, speed up”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, may Allah preserve you, the hadith before this appears contradictory, as if...?

The Shaykh : What? How so?

The questioner : Because, O Shaykh, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Calmly, calmly السكينة السكينة
and if you find a gap, speed up. How is that?

The Shaykh : Yes,
Calmly, calmly السكينة السكينة
because when people disperse, they do so with force and pushing, do you understand? He struck the camels and ordered them to be calm. Calmness in every place is according to its context and may be relative. So he moves slowly, but if he finds a gap, he speeds up in order to make the most of the night.
