The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The chapter on the recommendation to approach prayer, knowledge, and similar acts of worship with calmness and dignity. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Hajj 22:32] From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 327Sahih (Darussalam) Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. Muslim added in a narration from him: Sahih Muslim 602b And from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), that he proceeded with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of 'Arafah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard behind him severe shouting, beating, and the noise of camels, so he pointed his whip at them and said: Mishkat al-Masabih 2605 Narrated by al-Bukhari, and Muslim narrated part of it."

The author al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book *Riyad al-Salihin*: The chapter on the recommendation to approach prayer and similar gatherings of knowledge and other acts of worship with calmness and dignity. It is known that prayer is the most emphasized pillar of Islam after the two testimonies, and it is among the greatest symbols of Allah. When a person approaches prayer, he is approaching to stand before Allah (Mighty and Majestic). It is known that when a person approaches a person from among the children of Adam whom he honors, he approaches him with good manners, calmness, and dignity. So how much more so when he approaches to stand before Allah (Mighty and Majestic)? Therefore, a person should approach prayer with calmness, as will come in the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him). Then the author (may Allah have mercy on him) cited as evidence for this chapter the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Hajj 22:32] And when the heart fears Allah, the limbs fear Him, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 52 So you must honor the symbols of Allah, for that is piety for your heart, and it is also better for you with Allah (Mighty and Majestic) [Al-Hajj 22:30].
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.

And whoever honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.
ومن يعظم شعائر الله فإنها من تقوى القلوبWhen the Iqamah is called for Salat do not come to it rushing, rather come to it walking, and while you have tranquility. What you catch of it then pray it, and what you missed of it, then complete it.
إذا أقيمت الصلاة فلا تأتوها وأنتم تسعون وأتوها وأنتم تمشون وعليكم السكينة فما أدركتم فصلوا وما فاتكم فأتمواfor when one of you is preparing for prayer he is in fact engaged in prayer
فإن أحدكم إذا كان يعمد إلى الصلاة فهو في صلاةYou people must preserve a quiet demeanour, for piety does not consist in going quickly.
