What is the ruling on dyeing white hair black?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh. A young man has developed white hair and wants to dye his hair black. What is the ruling?

The Shaykh : This is deception. A man wants to get married, and he is young, but he has white hair on his head.

The questioner : And he is young, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And he is a young deceiver. But we say: it is better to dye this hair with a color other than black, such as brown, by mixing henna and katam and dyeing his head with them. In that case, the white hair will not be apparent. Yes, in fact, this is part of the Sunnah that a person changes his white hair with something other than black. As for changing it to black, the correct view is that it is forbidden, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded avoiding black and threatened those who dye with black with a severe warning. Yes.

The questioner : O honorable Shaykh, one-third of the deceased.

The Shaykh : A question?
No, is there another question from someone else?
