The saying (whoever commits zina will be repaid for it, even by his wall): Does this contradict the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another))?

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you: Many preachers and imams say...

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Many preachers and imams say in the Friday sermons: The Accountant does not die; do what you will, for as you sow, so shall you reap. They even quote the poet’s saying:
"And whoever commits zina will be repaid for it, even by his wall"
Are these sayings correct, O Shaykh, in light of the legal principle: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another"?

The Shaykh : No, but a hadith has been reported:
That whoever is lenient, his sons will be lenient, and whoever commits zina, his sons will commit zina. أن من عف عف أبناؤه ومن زنى زنى أبناؤه
so this is considered the ill omen of a man upon his descendants.
And with this, this meeting ends, and we look forward to a future meeting if Allah wills, because the limit between us is the adhan. When he says: "Hasten to prayer," say: "There is no power nor strength except in Allah," and seek help from Allah to go to the mosque. May Allah bless you, and peace be upon you.
