Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (No bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another)]
And what is in these scrolls says: [Surat al-Najm: 38] This is an explanation,Meaning: of what is in the scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa: No bearer of a burden, and His saying, the Exalted: [Surat al-Najm: 37] meaning: and he fulfilled what he was commanded. And the greatest of what he fulfilled was that he was commanded to slaughter his son, so he obeyed the command of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and he was resolute in carrying it out, to the point that he laid him down on his forehead to pass the knife over his neck, but the relief came from Allah.
And in His saying, the Exalted: [Surat al-Najm: 38-39] (No bearer of a burden) meaning: shall not carry, (a burden) meaning: a sin,and the burden of another, meaning: of another,Meaning: that a person does not carry the sin of another, except that an exception is made for the one who establishes a sinful sunnah, for whom there is the burden of that sunnah and the burden of whoever acts upon it until the Day of Resurrection. But the reality is that this person did not bear the burden of another; because the other person has sinned and committed a sin, but he bore the sin of the sunnah and the initiation of evil. So in reality, he did not bear the burden of another, but he bore the burden of his own sin. [Surat al-Najm: 38] And Allah the Exalted refuted the saying of those who disbelieved to those who believed: [Surat al-'Ankabut: 12] So Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-'Ankabut: 12] Even if someone were to say to you: Do this sin, and the sin is on me,it is not possible for him to be able to do this: [Surat al-Najm: 38] it is not possible for him to be able to do this,If the one who was told: do this and the sin is on me, then the sin is on the doer. Then, if the doer is one who is deceived by the statement and does not understand, then the one who made the statement bears the sin of deception,Meaning: that he deceived and tricked him: [Surat al-Najm: 39] meaning: a person has no reward except the reward of what he strived for -Meaning: what he did - so it is not possible for him to be given the reward of another. It is not possible for us to take the reward of Zayd and give it to 'Amr, ever. Just as it is not possible for us to take the sins of Zayd and add them to the sins of 'Amr. This is not possible,So the person became a pledge for what he earned: [Surat al-Tur: 21] , [Surat al-Muddaththir: 38] it is not possible for his good deeds to be taken for another, nor for the burdens of others to be taken and placed upon him.
And what is in these scrolls says:
That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another
أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىAnd [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] -
وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ الَّذِي وَفَّىAnd in His saying, the Exalted:
