We say, yes, it is prescribed for him so that he may be like the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and so that sealing is easy for him when he needs it. Then, it is safer from someone seizing it and forging documents with it; that is, someone takes the seal and writes whatever he wants and places this man's seal on it. And Allah knows best.
