Explanation of the verse: ((Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornment, We will give them the full reward of their deeds therein, and they will not be deprived therein...))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived.
[Hud 11:15]
The "man" (whoever) is a conditional particle that implies generality. "Whoever" means any person who desires the life of this world and its adornment. The life of this world means remaining in it, staying in it, and the length of that stay, the length of remaining in it. And its adornment is what is in it of adornment, such as women and sons, and the camels laden with gold and silver, and so on. "We will give them the full reward of their deeds therein" means We will give them their deeds therein in full, and they will be rewarded for their deeds in this world, in this world
(15) Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived. (16) Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do.
[Hud 11:15-16]
. For this reason, the disbeliever is given the reward of his deeds in this world; he is given dominion in this world, and this world becomes for him a Paradise, a bliss, and a comfort. For this reason, do not envy a person for his comfort; envy him for his righteous deed. As for comfort in this world, the original ruling is that it is for whom? For the disbelievers, as Allah the Exalted said in Surat al-Waqi'ah:
(41) And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? (42) [They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water (43) And a shade of black smoke, (44) Neither cool nor beneficial. (45) Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence, (46) And they used to persist in the great violation,
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:41-46]
For this reason, among the signs of misery and trial is that Muslims today are moving in this crooked direction, deviating from the straight path. It is not a deviation of disbelief, but a deviation of uprightness, such that they desire to attain the honor of luxury in all their affairs, but it is the destruction of luxury. It is destruction because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) explained to us in the authentic hadith:
When you trade with 'inah (buy-back sales), and take the tails of the cattle, and are content with the crops, and abandon jihad, Allah will send upon you a humiliation that He will not remove from you, or He said from your hearts, until you return to your religion.
Look, we followed after this world, what happens? What? Humiliation, which is not removed until we return to our religion, we return, and we strive for the religion just as we strive for this world. And now, with great regret, the general directives, in the newspapers and other than newspapers, are all for luxury and enjoyment in this world. And this is undoubtedly an error, because this life of this world is not life in reality; life is the life of the Hereafter,
He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
[Al-Fajr 89:24]
And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life
[Al-'Ankabut 29:64]
This is what we should care for and work for. And success is from Allah.
