What is the difference between the first blast and the standing up?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the difference between the first blast and the standing up?

The Shaykh : In the first blast, they are seized with panic and then struck dead. In the second blast, they are resurrected. Between them are forty, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said. However, when Abu Hurayrah was asked whether it was forty days or forty years, he said, "I refuse," meaning that he (may Allah be pleased with him) did not understand what the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) intended.

The questioner : The first blast, in which the living are killed...

The Shaykh : Yes, this is at the end of the world. The Trumpet is blown, and there is a great panic and great terror, and people die from it. This is what causes every nursing mother to be distracted from what she has nursed, and every woman with a child to give birth to her child, in reality. As for what happens after the people stand up from their graves to the Lord of the Worlds, and at the time of Adam's call, that is an estimate. That is an estimate. As for Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) saying, "It is possible that pregnant women die," that is correct, and it is common. But as for nursing mothers, few die while they are holding their sons to nurse them.
