Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Hattam narrated to us from Yazid ibn Abi 'Ubayd:
From Salimah ibn al-Akwa' that he entered upon al-Hajjaj, and he said: "O son of al-Akwa', have you reverted on your heels? Have you become an Arab?" He said: "No, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me permission to return to the Bedouin life."
.
And from Yazid ibn Abi 'Ubayd, he said:
When 'Uthman ibn 'Affan was killed, Salimah ibn al-Akwa' went out to al-Rabizah and married a woman there, and she bore him children. He did not cease to be with her until a few nights before he died, when he descended to al-Madinah.
