Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-06b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ishaq al-Wasiti narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us from al-Jurayri from Tarif Abu Tamimah, who said:
I witnessed Safwan and Jundub and his companions, and he was advising them. They said: Did you hear anything from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: I heard him say: "Whoever shows off, Allah will expose him on the Day of Resurrection." He said: And whoever opposes, Allah will break him on the Day of Resurrection. They said: Advise us. He said: The first thing to rot in a human being is his stomach, so whoever can refrain from eating anything but what is pure, let him do so. And whoever can prevent being barred from Paradise by a handful of blood he has shed, let him do so. I asked Abu 'Abdullah: Who is the one who said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)"? Jundub? He said: Yes, Jundub.
.

The Shaykh : Jundub, meaning is it Jundub? He said: Yes, it is Jundub. In this hadith, he (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
Whoever does a good deed in order to show off, Allah will expose his intentions on the Day of Resurrection (before the people) من سمع سمع الله به يوم القيامة
Sahih al-Bukhari 7152
"Shows off" means the people heard his worship as showing off, to show them that he worships Allah. "Allah will expose him on the Day of Resurrection" means He will expose him and make it clear on the Day of Resurrection that he is a show-off and not sincere to Allah. And whoever opposes, Allah will break him on the Day of Resurrection. "Opposes" may mean the ruler who does what is difficult for the subjects, whether his authority is general or specific. It may also mean whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, as He the Exalted said:
And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger - indeed, Allah is severe in penalty. ومن يشاقق الله ورسوله فإن الله شديد العقاب
[Al-Anfal 8:13]
Since it may mean two things and neither is stronger than the other, it is applied to both. Likewise, this great wisdom from Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him), not from Safwan, who said: "The first thing to rot in a human being is his stomach" meaning when he dies, the first thing to rot in him is the stomach, and that is because... it rots quickly. So whoever can refrain from eating anything but what is pure, let him do so. It has passed us that "pure" encompasses two things: pure in earnings, and the second is pure in substance, and its opposite is impure in earnings or substance. And whoever can prevent being barred from Paradise by a handful of blood he has shed, let him do so, and that is because whoever commits a sin involving forbidden blood, may Allah grant us safety, enters the Fire. Allah the Exalted said:
But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment. ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذابا عظيما
[An-Nisa 4:93]
I asked Abu 'Abdullah: Who is the one who said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family)"? Jundub? He said: Yes, Jundub. Look at the last word, Mustafa.
