A man who hastened to leave Mina, then realized his stoning was incorrect, so he returned and made it up at night: does his hastening become invalid?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : May Allah forgive you. A pilgrim who hastened, then realized his stoning on the twelfth day was incorrect, so he returned at night and stoned: does his return to Mina at night invalidate his hastening?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his Companions, and those who follow them in excellence until the Day of Judgment.
This man who hastened and left Mina before the sun set, then realized there was an error in his stoning, so he returned and made it up, does not invalidate the making up of what he missed due to his hastening. That is, he is permitted to stone at night and leave Mina, because this stoning was a make-up for what was missed, and the man hastened. And Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, says:
Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه
[Al-Baqarah 2:203]
.
And this stoning that he performed at night after sunset is a make-up, not a performance in its proper time.
So he owes nothing if he stones at night and then departs.
As for if he delays the stoning on the twelfth day until night, he must remain that night to spend the night in Mina, then stone the pillars on the thirteenth day.
