What is the ruling on wiping over socks for one who put them on while in a state of ritual purity but did not intend to wipe over them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Regarding this, O honorable Shaykh, if I put on socks while in a state of ritual purity and did not intend to wipe over them, am I permitted to wipe over them when the time for prayer arrives?

The Shaykh : Yes, if a person puts on socks, which are the stockings, while in a state of ritual purity, and even if he did not intend to wipe over them when he performed the ablution, he wipes over them. This is the case even if it is assumed that he put them on in the morning after Fajr and intended to take them off before Zuhr. That is, if he intended to take them off before Zuhr, but the time for Zuhr arrived and he had not taken them off, he is permitted to wipe over them.

The questioner : Right now, O Shaykh, is the time limit one day and one night?

The Shaykh : One day and one night, right now.

The questioner : Right now?

The Shaykh : Right now.
