Was the sermon of necessity (khutbat al-hajah) the majority of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) speech?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you, it is well known that this sermon is called the sermon of necessity (khutbat al-hajah). It was the majority of his sermons; he used it frequently. Why do we not use it in our speech and sermons as well, especially when we know its great benefit?

The Shaykh : It appears that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did not use it for everything, but only for important matters. Otherwise, the apparent meaning of the texts:
He then stood up, praised Allah, and extolled Himقام فحمد الله وأثنى عليه
Sunan Abi Dawud 1184Da'if (Al-Albani)
indicates that it is praise and commendation.
