The reciter: And Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, Yahya, meaning ibn Sa'id, narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to me, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah al-Ya'mari, from Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 946a.

He who offered prayer for the dead, for him is the reward of one qirat, and he who attended its burial, he would have two qirats as his reward. And qirat is equivalent to Uhud.
