The Book of Hajj-09a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Harun ibn Sa'id al-A'ili, and Ahmad ibn Isa, narrated to us, saying: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Amr informed me from Abu al-Aswad, that Abdullah, the freed slave of Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both), narrated to him,
he used to hear Asma, ' whenever she passed by Hajun, saying (these words): " May there be peace and blessing of Allah upon His Messenger." We used to stay here along with him with light burdens. Few were our rides, and small were our provisions. I performed 'Umra and so did my sister 'A'isha, and Zubair and so and so. And as we touched the House (performed circumambulation and Sa'i) we put off Ihram, and then again put on Ihram in the afternoon for Hajj.
Sahih Muslim 1237
Harun said in his narration: that it was the freed slave of Asma', and he did not name him: Abdullah.

The Shaykh : But this is understood in the sense of generality, because it is known that when Aisha arrived with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), she did not exit the state of ihram, as she had menstruated before entering Makkah, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered her to make her 'Umrah a Hajj, so that she would be performing Qiran.
