What is the meaning of "what I have brought forward and what I have delayed"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. I say: It is not hidden from you that the forgiveness of what has come before and what has come after of sins was specific to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). In the supplication here, it is "Forgive me what I have brought forward and what I have delayed."

The Shaykh : His saying:
my former and latter sins ما قدمت وما أخرت
Sunan Abi Dawud 1509Sahih (Al-Albani)
This is if the intended meaning of "delay" is after the statement, meaning the future. But if "what I brought forward" was in the year 1412 and "what I delayed" was in the year 1413, then this is not specific to him.
