Benefits Related to Ritual Slaughter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And in this is evidence that the condition is not waived by ignorance, due to his saying:
Whoever slaughtered his sacrifice before offering prayer, should slaughter another animal in place of the first من ذبح قبل أن يصلي فليذبح مكانها أخرى
Sahih al-Bukhari 7400
For its generality implies that even if one is ignorant, the condition is not waived, as we mentioned before the adhan. Therefore, when Burdah ibn al-Mi'yar (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered before I came to the prayer in order to feed my family and have them eat early. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to slaughter a replacement for it and said: "Your sheep is a sheep of meat" يا رسول الله إنني ذبحت قبل أن آتي إلى الصلاة من أجل أن يطعم أهله ويأكلوا مبكرين فأمره النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بدلا منها وقال : إن شاتك شاة لحم
even though he was ignorant, the condition is not waived by ignorance.
The reciter: Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, saying: Warqa' narrated to us.

The Shaykh : He said:
and whoever has not yet slaughtered any, should slaughter a sacrifice and mention Allah's Name while doing so. ومن لم يذبح فليذبح باسم الله
Sahih al-Bukhari 7400
Some scholars derived from his saying:
Let him slaughter in the name of Allah فليذبح باسم الله
that the preposition and the noun in the basmalah should be connected to a verb appropriate to the act one is beginning with the invocation. For example, if a person intends to perform wudu and says "In the name of Allah," what is the connection of the basmalah? He performs wudu. And if he intends to enter the mosque, he says "In the name of Allah, I enter."
