From the rational proofs of the establishment of Allah's Presence.

The student: May Allah forgive you, O Shaykh. Among Allah's creations, O Shaykh, is there anything that indicates that Allah is watching over His servants while He is upon His Throne? Like the sun and the moon, O Shaykh? Like the sun and the moon, which are among Allah's creations, and their light spreads over all creation and illuminates all people, while they are in the sky? They are among the smallest of Allah's creations. Night and day are greater than them, and the heavens and the earth are greater than them. And this light—we see the light by which Allah illuminates all creation—and yet we deny that Allah is watching over His creation while He is upon His Throne.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good. Glory be to Allah, Salim brings clear rational proofs. But we say: do not be surprised by one whom Allah misguides, for there is no guide for him.
Whoever Allah sends astray - there is no guide for him من يضلل الله فلا هادي له
[Al-A'raf 7:186]
And He leaves them in their transgression, wandering blindly. ويذرهم في طغيانهم يعمهون
[Al-A'raf 7:186]
Therefore, when a person sees that there are distinguished scholars, in the true sense of the word, who have strayed from the correct path in this creed, he asks Allah for steadfastness and says, "O Allah, make me steadfast." Therefore, you find students who have not read the words of the people of denial of the divine attributes, the people of distortion, and the like, and you find them upon the fitrah (the innate natural disposition), reading the Qur'an and believing what it indicates. Some of them even dislike it when the teacher speaks about these matters, saying, "This changes the heart; leave me and my fitrah." But Allah will make us and you steadfast.
The student: Some people think, O Shaykh, that the small full moon, when it becomes a small full moon, they leave it with the cows or the sheep, saying, "Go under the eye of Allah," meaning that Allah is watching over it.

The Shaykh : Like His saying:
And make it with my eyes ولتصنع على عيني
.
The student: But now, Glory be to Allah the Great, a person doubts... he doubts.

The Shaykh : O Allah, guide us. O Allah, guide us.
