Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And this is as in the texts of warning, for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) says:
Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze. إن الذين يأكلون أموال اليتامى ظلما إنما يأكلون فى بطونهم نارا وسيصلون سعيرا
[An-Nisa 4:10]
This and similar texts of warning are true, but one does not testify that a specific person will be subject to the warning. Thus, one does not testify that a specific person from the people of the Abode of Islam will enter the Fire, because it is possible that the warning will not befall him due to the absence of a condition or the presence of a preventer. Perhaps the prohibition did not reach him, or perhaps he repented from the forbidden act, or perhaps he has great good deeds that erase the punishment for that forbidden act, or perhaps he is tested with calamities that expiate for him, or perhaps an intercessor whose intercession is accepted intercedes for him. And so it is with statements."

The Shaykh : These are the preventers. These are the preventers of attributing the warning to a specific person:
First: Perhaps the prohibition did not reach him. This is a condition, meaning it is not possible to declare someone a disbeliever or attribute the warning to him unless the text reached him. If it did not reach him, he is excused.
Second: It says: "Perhaps he repented from the forbidden act." And if he repented, Allah accepted his repentance, and his record became white.
Third: Perhaps he has great good deeds that erase the punishment for that forbidden act, such as the people of Badr, for Allah looked upon them and said:
Do what you wish, I have forgiven you. اعملوا ما شئتم فقد غفرت لكم
Sunan Abi Dawud 2650Sahih (Al-Albani)

Fourth: Perhaps he is tested with calamities that expiate for him. Calamities in his body, calamities in his family, calamities in his wealth, calamities in his community. The important thing is calamities; every calamity that befalls a person is an expiation for him, even if it is a thorn that pricks him. And if he seeks reward for it, he is rewarded for it. For what? For the sake of patience. Good. And perhaps an intercessor whose intercession is accepted intercedes for him, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
If any Muslim dies and forty men who associate nothing with Allah stand over his prayer (they offer prayer over him), Allah will accept them as intercessors for him. ما من رجل مسلم يموت فيقوم على جنازته أربعون رجلا لا يشركون بالله شيئا إلا شفعهم الله فيه
Sahih Muslim 948
And these are his intercessors in this world. And there may be intercession in the Hereafter, for the prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs, and the angels intercede on the Day of Resurrection for those who entered the Fire to be brought out of it. Yes.
