A person was wronged by his brother in Allah, so he became angry with him until he wished that Allah would afflict him. Is this prescribed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you. If a man is wronged by his brother in Allah and becomes angry to the point where he wishes that Allah would afflict him, knowing that this brother is a person of good and is committed to the religion, except in this specific matter where he wronged him.

The Shaykh :
And whoever avenges himself after having been wronged - those have not upon them any cause [for blame]. ولمن انتصر بعد ظلمه فأولئك ما عليهم من سبيل
[Ash-Shuraa 42:41]
This is part of human nature. However, a person may have strong faith, be patient, and forgive his brother, not wishing for him any evil or harm. A person may also say, "I want to take my right." It is permissible for him to supplicate against his brother with the same amount of wrong he suffered, and it is permissible for him to wish for him evil to the extent of the wrong he committed. Yes, that is correct.
