The reader: "And if their opposition is the cause of the religion's manifestation, then the purpose of sending the messengers is that the religion of Allah should prevail over all religions, so that their very opposition becomes one of the greatest objectives of the mission.
Similarly, Abu Dawud narrated from the hadith of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
My community will remain well, or he said: will remain on its natural condition, so long as it would not delay the evening prayer until the stars shine brightly just like a network.
Sunan Abi Dawud 418Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
Ibn Majah narrated it from the hadith of al-Abbas, and Imam Ahmad narrated it from the hadith of al-Sa'ib ibn Yazid.
It has come with an explanation of its reasoning: "They will remain in a state of well-being as long as they do not delay the Maghrib until the rising of the star, imitating the Jews, and do not delay the Fajr until the disappearance of the stars"

The Shaykh : disappearance
The reader: and do not delay the Fajr until the disappearance of the stars

The Shaykh : disappearance with a light qaf
The reader: "and do not delay the Fajr until the disappearance of the stars, imitating the Christians.
Sa'id ibn Mansur said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, al-Salt ibn Bahrām narrated to us, al-Harith ibn Wahb narrated from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Sanabahi, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
My ummah will remain upon a firm hold as long as they do not wait for the intertwining of the stars at Maghrib, imitating the Jews, and do not wait for the disappearance of the stars at Fajr, imitating the Christians, and do not leave the funerals to their families
.
And Sa'id ibn Mansur said: 'Ubayd Allah ibn Iyad ibn Luqayt narrated to us from his father from Layla, the wife of Bashir ibn al-Khasasiyya, who said:
I intended to fast two days consecutively, so Bashir forbade me from it and said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade me from it and said: Only the Christians do that. Fast as Allah has commanded you, and complete the fast as Allah has commanded you, and complete the fasting until night. When it becomes night, then break your fast
. Ahmad narrated it in *al-Musnad*. So the reason for the prohibition of continuous fasting (wasal) is that it is the fasting of the Christians, and it is as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, and it is likely that it is from their monasticism which they innovated.
And from Hammad from Thabit from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Jews used to refuse to eat with a woman when she was menstruating, and they would not share a dwelling with her. The Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so Allah (Mighty and Majestic) revealed: “And they ask you about menstruation. Say, it is a harm, so keep away from women during menstruation.” Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Do everything except intercourse.” When this reached the Jews, they said, “This man intends to leave nothing of our affairs without opposing us in it.” So Asid ibn Hudhayr and 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit came and said, “O Messenger of Allah, the Jews are saying such and such; should we not have intercourse with them?” The face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) changed until we thought he was angry with them. They went out, and a gift of milk was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he sent it after them and had them drink it. We then realized that he was not angry with them. Muslim narrated it. This indicates the abundance of what Allah prescribed for His Prophet of opposing the Jews "
.

The Shaykh : And this hadith also indicates the perfection of the character of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because when his face changed due to their question, and then they went out, there is no doubt that this would have an impact on their souls and hearts. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to erase this when he sent to them and gave them from this gift. And thus it is befitting for every person who fears that his brother has something in his heart to do what removes what is in his heart, whether it relates to the person himself or to his companion, because this is from the perfection of character. But some people say: "Leave him, he will be upset or he will be pleased, or the like of that." There is consideration in this; there is consideration in this conduct. Rather, everything that happens to remove what is in your brother's heart is from the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Yes.
