Continuation of the commentary on the destruction of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) al-Dirar Mosque, and the explanation of the danger of the division of the Muslims, and that this is the doing of the hypocrites.

The Shaykh : This is al-Dirar. The scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) said: "It must be demolished", meaning the al-Dirar Mosque. The destruction of its value serves as a punishment for its owner. Otherwise, it is possible that its appearance could be changed and it taken as a warehouse or a shop or something similar. However, they said it should be demolished because it is indeed a punishment for its owner. Now, this mosque was taken by the hypocrites, and in this is an indication that every hypocrite wishes for the believers to be divided. Therefore, we must be wary of those who sow discord among the believers, especially among the youth and students of knowledge, to divide their gathering and scatter their unity. We must know that this is a characteristic of whom? The hypocrites. And every person who loves for the Ummah to be divided has a trait of hypocrisy in him. Unlike the one who loves for the Ummah to be united and to gather what is scattered, for this is from the believers. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed that the corruption of relations is among the things that shave off religion. He said: So in any case, the hypocrites undoubtedly love for the believers to be divided. They divide them even in the name of Islam, or in the name of religion, or in the name of creed, or something similar. Even if people differ in matters that have no relation to creed, they turn it into a difference in creed and say: "By Allah, this is a creed, and we must protect our creed, and we must do so." Then the people become divided. This is a very dangerous sign, and unfortunately, it exists now in some places and among some of the youth. The obligation is to agree and not to differ as much as possible. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Abu Musa and Mu'adh ibn Jabal when he sent them to Yemen: So he ordered them to obey one another, even in what one does not see as a benefit, because division is the harm. Yes. Has the time ended?
