The Shaykh : He said: "Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Mishkat al-Masabih 3210 Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim, and the wording is that of Muslim":
His statement:Mishkat al-Masabih 3210:
'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) was one of the Emigrants. When he arrived in Madinah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) paired him with a man from the Helpers. The Helpers (may Allah be pleased with them), out of their great hospitality toward the Emigrants, would offer one of their two wives to the Emigrant who was made his brother. So his Helper companion offered one of his wives to him, but he (may Allah be pleased with him) refused and said: "Show me the market." So he showed it to him, and he bought and sold, and Allah (Mighty and Majestic) enriched him. For this reason, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) was among the wealthiest of the Companions.
He married, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a trace of yellow on him:
Meaning a trace of perfume. And as we know, perfume can be yellow, like saffron, or oud oil, or other perfumes that are yellow.
He said: So-and-so:
The question of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is not to be considered a question about something that does not concern him, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is concerned with the condition of all his Companions. Also, it may have occurred to the heart of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the man had married, so he wanted to verify it. Otherwise, it is well known that if you see a trace of perfume or something similar on a person, it is not good to ask him "What is this?" or "Why?" or something similar, because this involves matters that do not concern you. But we answer this with two points:
The first point: that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is concerned with the condition of all his Companions.
And the second: it may have occurred to the heart of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he had married, so he wanted to verify it. As for the first point: no one shares with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this.
And as for the second point: there is no harm if something occurs to your heart regarding your brother and you want to verify it, so there is no blame in asking, because this is something that concerns you.
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 10:1692: And he did not specify the woman because there was no need for that.
And his statement:: The pit is what is inside the date, and it is called the seed, and it is called the lentil in the language of the people of al-Qasim. This is the pit, and this is the apparent meaning of the hadith.
And some scholars said: that the pit is a standard for gold, like the mithqal and its like, but the first is the apparent meaning.
He said:: He prayed for him that Allah would bless him in his household whom he married.
" Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim":
Hold a wedding feast means to prepare a food feast and invite people to it.: Meaning even if it is with a small amount, like a sheep. And a sheep is small for the rich, but for the poor, it is a lot.
the Prophet saw the trace of yellow on ‘Abd ar-Rahman b. ‘Auf and asked what that was. He replied, “I have married a woman for a nawat * weight of gold.” He said, “God bless you! Hold a wedding- feast, even if only with a sheep.”
His statement:
