Explanation of the Book of Purification-14

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said: "And from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said:
Fatima bint Abu Hubaish came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman whose blood keeps flowing (even after the menstruation). I am never purified; should I, therefore, stop praying?” He (the Prophet) said: “No, for that is only a vein, and is not menstruation. So when the menstruation comes, abstain from prayers, and when it ends wash the blood from yourself and then pray”.
Bulugh al-Maram 68
Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And al-Bukhari has:
then perform ablution for every prayer
Sunan Abi Dawud 298Sahih (Al-Albani)
.
And Muslim indicated that he omitted it intentionally"
:
His saying:
Fatima bint Abu Hubaish came to the Prophet (ﷺ)
Bulugh al-Maram 68
: Because women come to the Messenger (may the prayer and peace of Allah be upon him) and ask him, even in the presence of men, to the point that they say words that a man would be shy to say in the presence of men. Perhaps the story of Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Zubayr has passed by you, whom a woman married after her husband had divorced her three times. She came to complain to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said:
If Rifa'ah al-Qurazi divorced her three times and she married after him Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Zubayr, and what is with him is like the tassel of a garment, and she pointed with her garment.
: meaning that he is unable to have intercourse. He said:
Do you want to go back to Rifa'ah? No, not until you taste his ('Abdur-Rahman's) sweetness and he tastes your sweetness.
Sunan Ibn Majah 1932Sahih (Darussalam)
: And by this we know that a woman's voice is not an 'awrah (part of the body that must be covered); rather, the Qur'an indicates that a woman's voice is not an 'awrah in the saying of the Exalted:
then do not be soft in speech
[Al-Ahzab 33:32]
He did not say: "Do not speak" or "Do not say," and there is a difference between the two.
If someone were to say: Did the Messenger not say:
The men glorify Allah and the women clap.
?
We say: Yes, but this is a matter of precaution in averting fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), because if a woman were to glorify Allah in the prayer, her voice might be melodious and she might deliver it in a way that causes fitnah for the worshippers, so it was prohibited. As for speech in general, there is nothing wrong with it.
She says:
I am a woman whose blood keeps flowing (even after the menstruation). I am never purified
Bulugh al-Maram 68
I suffer from irregular non-menstrual bleeding, meaning the menstruation is severe for me. And there is a difference between "I suffer from irregular non-menstrual bleeding" and "I menstruate." The difference between them is that irregular non-menstrual bleeding is an excess of blood, while menstruation is less and comes at known times.
And do not become ritually pure.
: And the apparent meaning of the hadith is that blood comes to her at all times and she does not become ritually pure.
should I, therefore, stop praying?” He (the Prophet) said: “No, for that is only a vein أفأدع الصلاة ؟
Bulugh al-Maram 68
:
Should I leave off the prayer?
Why did she ask about leaving off the prayer?
Because it is known that a menstruating woman does not pray, and she thought that this blood was menstruation, so she asked whether she should leave off the prayer or not. He said:
No. لا
.

The Shaykh : No, wiping is for a state of minor or major ritual impurity.
The student: What is the indication, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : They did not know anyone who said that, and wiping is generally for a state of minor or major ritual impurity.
