Review and discussion under (I was a man who emitted pre-seminal fluid, so I ordered al-Miqdad to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) . . . ).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment:
Why did 'Ali ibn Abi Talib choose al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad over the other Companions?
The student: Because he took turns with him in descending to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Shaykh : Meaning, they took turns in attending to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Good.
And why was 'Ali -Mahmud- shy to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?
The student: Because of the status of his daughter with him.

The Shaykh : Because of the status?
The student: Because of the status of his daughter (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Shaykh : From 'Ali ibn Abi Talib. Well done.
Good, there are two linguistic forms for madhi, 'Aqil?
The student: Madhi?

The Shaykh : Yes, madhi, ah, good. Parse it for us, meaning, give us its diacritical marks?
The student: It is with a shaddah on the dhal.

The Shaykh : How? With a shaddah on the dhal: madhiyy?
The student: No, with sukun.

The Shaykh : Sukun on it, and the ya? And the ya is with fathah on the mim, sukun on the dhal, and what?
The ya? Sukun on the ya for lightness or shaddah for heaviness?
The student: For lightness.

The Shaykh : For lightness? The second language?
The student: Fathah on the mim.

The Shaykh : Fathah on the mim, here?
The student: And kasrah on the dhal.

The Shaykh : Kasrah on the dhal.
The student: And shaddah on the ya.

The Shaykh : And shaddah on the ya, madhiyy.
Good, what is the reality of madhi, 'Abdullah ibn 'Awadh?
The student: Yes, it is a viscous fluid that comes out of a person upon desire, meaning, whether this desire is aroused by touch or by thinking.

The Shaykh : Well done, good.
Do people differ in this, Saleh?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : Hm?
The student : They differ.

The Shaykh : They differ, some of them are?
The student: Some of them do not emit madhi at all.

The Shaykh : Some of them do not emit madhi at all, and some?
The student: And some have a lot of it.

The Shaykh : And some have a lot of madhi, and some are in the middle.
Good, have we finished with the hadith? And its benefits?
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Good, let us say that four things come out of the penis?
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Yes, we will explain them now, if Allah wills:
Four things come out of the penis:
Urine, wadi, madhi, and mani. This is with respect to health; as for what comes out of other things if one is afflicted with a disease, that is another matter.
Mani is known to be pure, and it obligates ghusl, meaning: purifying the entire body.
Urine is impure and it obligates wudu'.
Madhi is impure and it obligates wudu', but its impurity is light, and it obligates more than washing what it affected on the penis; it obligates washing the entire penis and the two testicles.
Wadi is the essence of urine, so its ruling is the ruling of urine. It is white droplets that come out after the end of urination, as if it is an essence from the bladder, and Allah knows best, and its ruling is the ruling of urine.
So the things that come out are two with the same ruling, and they are?
The student: Urine and a thick fluid passed after urination.

The Shaykh : Urine and what?
The student: And wadi.

The Shaykh : And wadi, and two that differ from them and from each other: they are madhi and mani. Madhi is in the middle between mani and urine in terms of its impurity and purity, because urine necessarily requires ghusl, and madhi requires sprinkling water according to the stronger opinion, which is: to cover what it affected with water without rubbing the body or squeezing the clothes.
But mani is heavier than it, because it obligates purifying the entire body.
