Explanation of the Book of Prayer-04

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) in the long hadith regarding their sleeping through the prayer:
Then Bilal proclaimed the Adhan and the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the prayer (while leading the Companions) as he used to do every day.
Bulugh al-Maram 2:46
meaning even in the adhan and iqamah. The story is that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved to travel at night and searched for that, saying:
and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights
Sahih al-Bukhari 39
So they slept in the last part of the night. You know that when a person is exhausted and sleeps in the last part of the night, especially if the weather is suitable, he will fall into deep sleep. So he said:
Who will watch over the Fajr for us? So Bilal said: I
meaning who will watch over it? He said: I.
So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slept, and the Companions slept, and Bilal slept, and Bilal did not wake up. Nothing woke them up except the heat of the sun after the sun had risen and ascended. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them to move from that place and said: It is a place where Satan was present with us. Then he descended and prayed as he used to pray every day
Bilal called the adhan, and they prayed the rawatib and they prayed the obligatory prayer. The implication of his saying:
Every day كل يوم
is that he recited it aloud. This is the summary of the story, and you should find it in *the two Sahihs* or in Muslim, where it says.
