The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << . . . . . . . . . . >

We begin the new lesson now.
And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
[Al-An'am 6:84]
It is derived from this verse that the offspring which Allah bestows upon the servant is among the gifts of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as He said:
And We gave him ووهبنا له
.
And among its benefits is that the son of a son is a son, because Jacob was the son of the son of Ibrahim, and Allah the Exalted made him a gift to Ibrahim. This is indicated by the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding al-Hasan ibn 'Ali ibn Abi Talib:
Indeed, this son of mine is a chief
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3773Sahih (Darussalam)
The scholars are in agreement in the chapter of inheritance that the son of a son is in the position of a son when the son is absent. Is it derived from this that the father of a father is a father? Because this is the converse analogy, and we said: if the son of a son is a son, it follows that the father of a father is a father. For this reason, it is narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and him) that he said regarding Zayd ibn Thabit, what did he say to him?
Does not Zayd fear Allah, making the son of a son a son and not making the father of a father a father
And this is the correct view: if the son of a son is a son, then the father of the father is a father. This is the correct view. Consequently, this provides evidence for the exclusion of brothers by the grandfather in the chapter of inheritance.
And among the benefits of the verse, or rather a discussion of it, is why Allah the Exalted mentioned that Jacob was a gift to Ibrahim? The exegetes said: because he was born during his lifetime, and Allah made his eye pleased with him while he was alive, as Allah the Exalted said about his wife:
Then We gave her good tidings of Isaac and after Isaac, Jacob.
[Hud 11:71]
Yes, and We gave him Isaac and Jacob.
And among the benefits of the verse is the virtue of Ibrahim and his blessing, from His saying:
and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture
[Al-'Ankabut 29:27]
Prophethood after Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is impossible and unattainable, but the Book is possible, which is knowledge. Yes, knowledge: perhaps Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) places a blessing in the offspring of a person in knowledge and its dissemination. Among this is the story of 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked to bless Abi Talhah in his night with his family. They say that 'Abdullah had ten children who memorized the Qur'an. Memorizing the Qur'an among the Salaf was not an easy matter, as it is not with us now. A person memorizes the Qur'an, but its effect does not appear on him. Among the Salaf, when a person memorized the Qur'an, its effect appeared on him in demeanor, manners, character, and righteous deeds.
And among the benefits of this verse
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Year ... these are the understood books; the understood books may be there are books other than ... what was explained to us.
Among the benefits of the verse is the establishment of recompense, from His saying:
And We gave him his reward in this world
[Al-'Ankabut 29:27]
And that it may be hastened for a person. The establishment of recompense is one point, and the second is that it may be hastened for a person. Yes, hastening the recompense for a person in reality is not considered a deprivation for him of the reward of the Hereafter. For this reason, He said:
and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.
[Al-Baqarah 2:130]
, and hastening the reward for a person in this world is a blessing of Allah upon the servant, because the person sees the effect of his work and becomes eager to work. This is considered a blessing of Allah upon the servant: that He shows him the effect of his work, whether this is by illumination in external things or in things within the person and his inner self. For example, among the rewards of righteous deeds is that a person finds joy, light, and comfort in his heart toward righteous work. This is undoubtedly among the immediate rewards. And among the external things is that pleasant visions are seen for him, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed that this is the immediate glad tidings of the believer: the righteous dream that a man sees or is seen for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is from the immediate glad tidings of the believer.
For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter
[Yunus 10:64]
Thus, it is derived from this verse the hastening of reward in this world. And based on this benefit is another benefit: that hastening the reward in this world is a blessing of Allah upon the servant, because of what it contains of energizing the person to work and continuing in it.
And among the benefits of the verse is that the description of righteousness, which is broader than the description of prophethood, is permissible to be attributed to the Prophet. That is, it is permissible to describe with the broader meaning without the narrower one, from His saying:
and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.
[Al-Baqarah 2:130]
And the prophets on the night of the Ascension say to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous prophet.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the praise of Ibrahim, emphasized by
Indeed
and the letter lam
and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.
[Al-Baqarah 2:130]

The Shaykh : Where is it taken from? From His saying:
And We gave him ووهبنا له
We mentioned that it is a gift and a bestowal from Allah, but in reality, this gift may be a trial if a person neglects the right of Allah in them. Then they become a trial for him. Only if a person fulfills what is obligatory for Allah regarding his children, then they are undoubtedly a gift.
The student: Even if they do not find guidance

The Shaykh : Yes, because he is rewarded for their upbringing and guidance, and the general rule, and Allah knows best, is that they will become righteous, even if in the future. Yes.
The student: In a hadith, a woman was ... and she said to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): Call upon Allah

The Shaykh : Yes, the one who was being seized. He said:
Show endurance as you can do and there would be Paradise for you and, if you desire, I supplicate Allah that He may cure you
Sahih Muslim 2576
There is no problem.
The student ...

The Shaykh : The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) understood from this woman that she had a type of distress, so he prepared her to be patient. And patience is a high degree that is not attained merely by saying "I was patient." This is the reason the Messenger said:
Show endurance as you can do and there would be Paradise for you
Sahih Muslim 2576
