The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((When the fear has passed, they will pierce you with their tongues, being stingy over good))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that these cowardly hypocrites, when the fear passes—since during the fear they are like the dead, or like one who is overcome by death—become champions of speech and masters of eloquence and tyranny, as He said:
But when fear departs, they lash you فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُمْ
[Al-Ahzab 33:19]
Just as their speech comes, when the fear has passed, they begin to speak. Yes.
Among its benefits is the severity of the hypocrites toward the believers, and that they are harsh and severe toward them, as He said:
they lash you with sharp tongues سَلَقُوكُمْ بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ
[Al-Ahzab 33:19]
.
Among its benefits is that the hypocrites, as the poet said: "A lion over me, and in battle a camel"
Over the believers, they are lions in falsehood, naturally, not in truth. And with the disbelievers, they are camels. You know the camel by its cowardice; when it sees the hunter, it says, "This will kill me," and buries its head in the dirt so that it does not see it. Yes.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the knowledge of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) of what is in the hearts, as He said:
