Then Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ahzab: 24]. It is derived from this noble verse the clarification of the wisdom of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in recompense for deeds, as He said: .
Among its benefits is that the recompense is of the same kind as the deed, as He said:. The preposition "bi" (with/by) indicates causality, and the effect is linked to the cause; it strengthens with its strength, weakens with its weakness, increases with its increase, and decreases with its decrease.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the praise of the truthful and that they are worthy of good recompense, as He said:[Al-Ahzab 33:24]. The truthful in their creed, in their speech, and in what after that? In their deeds. And Allah has commanded truthfulness, and He the Exalted said: [At-Tawbah: 119]. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, encouraging truthfulness: . Truthfulness, just as it is a place of praise from Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and a place of great reward, is also a place of praise from the creation. Therefore, you will find that the deeds of the truthful are spread, their words have an impact, and they are praised in gatherings even after their deaths. This is in contrast to the people of lying and hypocrisy, may Allah protect us from it, for they are the opposite of that. So you must be truthful, and do not think that the truthful person will ever be disappointed, as Satan sometimes depicts to a person that if he were truthful, it would be harmful to him, so he should lie. This is from the whispers of Satan. Truthfulness is salvation. Therefore, one of them said: "I saw safety in lying", and the second one said to him: "Then truthfulness is safer". And he was truthful, and I know that the truthful person, even if the matter may be bitter for him at first, the outcome will be for him in the end. If you want an example of that, look at the state of the three who were left behind in the Battle of Tabuk. How was their beginning? They were in that great bitterness until the earth became narrow for them in its vastness, and their souls became narrow for them, and the earth became strange to them, until Ka'b ibn Malik said: "Until it was as if the people on the earth were not the people I know." The earth became narrow for him, and the result was that verses were revealed concerning them that will be recited until the Day of Resurrection. Were it not for this truthfulness, these verses would not have remained until it was said to people: [At-Tawbah 9:119]. When their story was mentioned, it was a very great ending for the truthful. So you be truthful, and even if harm befalls you at the beginning of your matter, the outcome is for you. Do not return yourself to lying. Good. [Al-Ahzab 33:24]
That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
