The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And He will punish the hypocrites, if He wills, or accept their repentance”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
It is derived from this noble verse the condemnation of hypocrisy and that it is a cause of punishment, as He said:
And He will punish the hypocrites وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
.
It is derived from it that the hypocrite has a path to repentance, as He said:
if He wills إِنْ شَاءَ
. He wills to punish them if they die upon hypocrisy, but if they repent, He has willed not to punish them. However, as you have heard in the exegesis of this verse, the repentance of the hypocrite is mentioned with conditions that must be observed:
Except for those who repent, correct themselves, hold fast to Allah, and are sincere in their religion for Allah إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِاللَّهِ وَأَخْلَصُوا دِينَهُمْ لِلَّهِ
[Al-Nisa: 146]. These matters must manifest in the hypocrite; otherwise, his repentance is not accepted in this world. As for the Hereafter, his affair is with Allah. But in this world, we do not accept it unless these attributes that Allah the Mighty and Majestic has stipulated manifest in him.
It is derived from that the encouragement of hypocrites to repent, as He said:
Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers. أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ
[Ali 'Imran 3:128]
. A hypocrite is a deceiver, a loser, and a schemer, and yet it is said to him:
Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers. أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ
[Ali 'Imran 3:128]
. This is evidence that the mercy of Allah the Exalted precedes His anger. Therefore, those who punish His awliya (close friends of Allah) and burn them in the fire, Allah the Exalted says:
Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
[Al-Buruj: 10]. Likewise, those who said that Allah is the third of three, Allah offered them repentance. All of this is evidence that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, loves forgiveness more than retribution. Yes, that is correct.
